Valet Cashier – Carillon Hotel and Spa

Location: 6801 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday

Hourly Pay: $14.00/hour

Overview

The Valet Cashier operates the specified parking lot by handling cash transactions and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves ticketing, payment processing, vehicle assistance, and collaboration with team members and management to ensure accurate cash handling and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activate and coordinate the full valet process, retrieving keys, loading and unloading vehicles, and issuing tickets or entering customer details via electronic devices.
  • Build rapport with guests, address inquiries, provide directions, and maintain a courteous brand ambassador presence.
  • Perform safety and security checks, direct traffic, barricade positions, and inspect vehicles for damage.
  • Collect applicable fees, reconcile end‑of‑shift revenue, and report incidents/claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Assist guests with luggage or personal items when necessary and manage vehicle parking to ensure safe handling.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to operate manual‑transmission (stick‑shift) vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • History of responsible driving (acceptable MVR).
  • Physical stamina: walking or running for extended periods, lifting, and moving wheels.
  • Previous valet experience preferred.
  • Rapid learning ability and sound decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.
