• Assist the Chef de Partie with day-to-day operations while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in designated work areas.
• Prepare mise-en-place in advance of cooking; review recipes; measure ingredients; wash, chop, and portion ingredients; prepare equipment for use.
• Prepare and handle fruits, vegetables, salads, and fish according to HACCP guidelines.
• Check and clean refrigerators, trolleys, utensils, and kitchen equipment daily.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the specific kitchen area.
• Receive products from stores in accordance with HACCP guidelines and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety regulations, sanitation, chemical usage, fire procedures, and HACCP; operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests.

• High school education or equivalent; culinary training or an accredited apprenticeship is preferred.
• Relevant experience in a high-quality, high-volume, multi-unit operation is preferred.
