Director of Front Office - RELO to Florida Keys

Director of Front Office is needed for an upscale full-service resort in the Florida Keys. This position requires an experienced and professional Front Office/Rooms Director with hotel front office expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the operation of Guest Services, Bell Service, and Front Desk service in an attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service.
  • Maximizing room revenue, ADR, and occupancy.
  • Managing staff productivity, training, and service standards.
  • Leading, coaching, disciplining, and developing Rooms Division staff; overseeing hiring, training, performance reviews, morale, communication, and succession planning.
  • Overseeing daily operations through department tours, public‑area and guest‑room inspections, monitoring oversold dates, and ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.
  • Managing financial responsibilities including labor control, expense monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
  • Requires 6+ years of progressive hotel experience, or a 4‑year degree with 4+ years related experience, or a 2‑year degree with 5+ years’ experience; must have hotel front office management experience.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Opera.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
