Hotel Housekeeping

In this role, you’ll support the housekeeping team while ensuring public areas are consistently maintained according to hotel brand standards.

- Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, common areas, office nooks, hallways, and other guest-accessible spaces.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and clean floors according to hotel standards.
- Clean and sanitize elevators multiple times throughout the day.
- Clean public restrooms and maintain them regularly throughout each shift.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstered furniture in public areas as needed.
- Stock and replenish pool towels throughout the day.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated areas.
- Restock housekeeping supplies, linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning products as needed.
- Assist housekeeping team members with linen and towel delivery, stripping rooms, and other housekeeping duties.
- Help coordinate and oversee Facility Attendant tasks as assigned.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns to the appropriate team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No previous experience required; housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or similar experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and instructions.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Positive and professional communication skills when interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist other departments when needed.
- Guest-focused attitude with an understanding of excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays as necessary.
This is an active position that requires frequent walking and standing throughout the shift. Team members must be able to regularly bend, stoop, reach, sit, and stand and use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques. The position may require occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
