A dedicated, client‑focused Supervisor is needed to lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of Cleaning Specialists in maintaining diverse facilities under the direction of the Area Manager for the Environmental Services Division.

Major Responsibilities
  • Report to the Area Manager, obtain job assignments for each evening, and report any issues from the previous work night.
  • Perform daily routine inspections and follow up to ensure immediate corrections, maintaining the highest quality level across all accounts.
  • Provide initial and on‑site training to cleaning specialists, assigning specific duties based on site requirements.
  • Work side by side with specialists when required and cover for absenteeism.
  • Deliver supplies to small accounts when necessary.
  • Check cleaning equipment and supplies during inspections.
  • Ensure service is completed satisfactorily in each account under supervision.
  • Make recommendations and submit written reports on quality, attendance, appearance, and other concerns.
  • Communicate professionally and provide detailed information, responding promptly to problems or suggestions.
  • Improve service quality through hiring, training, cross‑training, and directing specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies for each account.
  • Assist the Area Manager in maintaining equipment and the repair budget.
  • Review timesheets daily and monitor exception reports.
  • Coordinate special projects with the Area Manager.
  • Ensure all employees complete orientation and training before beginning work.
  • Assist the Area Manager in hiring, terminating, and transferring employees.
  • Complete all requested paperwork promptly.
  • Respond immediately to company, employer requests.
  • Work with and report to HR regarding any employee issues or problems.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, promote safe habits, hold safety meetings, and document attendance.
  • Ensure employees wear and use uniforms, s, safety gear, and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Inspect equipment, janitor closets, and chemical bottles for condition and labeling.
  • Report to and work with risk management on safety issues or incidents.
  • Prepare accounts for all inspections in advance.
  • Keep management informed at all times.
  • Support the management team at Total Cleaning.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of janitorial supervision experience.
  • Bi‑lingual skills in English/Spanish are a plus.
  • Available nights, days, and weekends; open schedule; on‑call requirement.
  • Computer skills are a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various internal and external customers.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and results‑oriented mindset.
