We are a local family business with nearly 40 years of experience and about 170 employees. The Art Source, Inc. includes several sister brands – Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors, California Closets Hawaii, and Coco Nene. We design and create home products locally in our Kapolei manufacturing facility and serve clients across the Hawaiian Islands.

We are seeking a dedicated Closet & Cabinet Maker to be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and quality-checking custom closet and cabinet components using woodworking machinery and tools. This position is ideal for someone who values craftsmanship, accuracy, and takes pride in producing premium-quality work.

Pay: $18-22/h (based on experience, with growth opportunity from company profit-sharing)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Operate woodworking machines or assigned work cells in a production environment.
• Train on additional machines or work cells as needed.
• Work closely with the Production Shop Manager to meet daily and weekly production targets. Monitor progress against production timelines and notify the manager of delays.
• Participate in team huddles and communicate job progress clearly.
• Produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect outgoing jobs to ensure they meet Plus Interiors and California Closets quality standards. Document & report defects/issues.
• Maintain tools, machines, and equipment in good working condition. Report safety and machine issues or malfunctions immediately.

• Equipment Used: CNC, beam saw, edge bander, hand tools, and other cabinet shop machinery
• Ability to lift 50lbs+

• Basic computer literacy (selecting files, navigating simple interfaces)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Woodworking, cabinet making, or production experience preferred
• Willingness to train on various woodworking machines
