Responsibilities- Complete daily tasks for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs.
- Maintain positive relationships with Store Management.
- Conduct apprehensions within established policies and guidelines.
- Communicate with store associates about damage and shrink initiatives.
- Identify and resolve internal and external theft.
- Adhere to shoplifter guidelines and policies.
- Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers.
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality.
- Observe, apprehend, and deter acts of dishonesty from outside sources.
- Participate in investigations and surveillance as assigned.
- Ensure apprehensions align with store theft activity.
- Complete and distribute paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain evidence and demonstrate understanding of law‑enforcement procedures; participate in legal activities as needed.
- Coordinate and complete shrink activities in partnership with Store Management.
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
- Encourage associate use of shrink‑reduction resources.
- Promote safety awareness and support a safe environment.
- Excellent communication skills and sound judgment.
- Basic computer and time‑management skills.
- Investigative / analytical skills.
- Ability to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

- 0–2 years retail or security experience.
