Job Summary

The Sales Manager will drive the sales efforts for assigned venues, acting as front‑line sales for the venue sales team. Responsibilities include generating Scope of Work (SOW) documents, contracts, and moving leads through the company’s proprietary sales funnel. This role focuses on connection, pre‑qualification, solutions, and more, ensuring alignment with Pinnacle Live’s sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a sales subject‑matter expert and ambassador for the designated hotel sales team.
  • Generate and revise scope of work, quotes, proposals, and contracts based on venue leads’ AV needs.
  • Utilize the proprietary sales process as directed by the National Director of Venue Sales and/or Venue Director of Sales, including pre‑qualification, quote generation, contract confirmation, pricing, negotiations, and follow‑up.
  • Build deep knowledge of Pinnacle Live’s products and services, stay passionate about new technologies.
  • Provide hotel leads with necessary resources such as layouts, renderings, visuals, and product suggestions.
  • Enter all client data into Pinnacle Live’s CRM, develop and drive an individual sales strategy, and report on sales activity.
  • Collaborate with the In‑Venue Sales team and National Director of Venue Sales.
  • Build outstanding relationships within the hotel sales team and Pinnacle Live internal teams.
  • Re‑present Pinnacle Live and the venue during site visits, planning meetings, pre‑convention and debrief meetings.
  • Deliver “Gold Standard” customer experiences throughout the sales process, event execution, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Manage accurate and timely billing of events and clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a customer‑service or sales role; hospitality sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and ability to generate high‑quality sales insights.
  • Production and staging experience preferred.
  • Scenic and décor experience preferred.
  • Rigging, electrical, and exhibit experience preferred.

  • Project‑management expertise; proven success in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with strong organizational skills.
