As a Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Kapolei, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, offering outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access within the location.
• Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information, directions, assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
