Security Guard - AM​/PM

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Nobu Hotel Miami Beach. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think quickly in high-stress situations.

As a Security Guard, you will:

• Protect guests, team members, and property by maintaining a visible security presence and responding to incidents as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the property to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms, and coordinate with local authorities when required.
• Provide assistance to guests and colleagues, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate, timely reports.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security/law enforcement experience, hotel experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
