Key Responsibilities

• Operate company delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods according to established routes and schedules.
• Load and unload products while ensuring accurate verification of orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and delivery procedures to maintain safety and reliability.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication.
• Report vehicle issues, delivery delays, or discrepancies promptly to dispatch or supervisors.
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including assisting in organizing and staging deliveries.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License:
  Must possess a clean driving record appropriate for the vehicle class Class
  
  C.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience:
  
  Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred; familiarity with local routes is a plus.
• Driving and Navigation Proficiency:
  Ability to use GPS and mapping tools for efficient route planning.
• Customer Service
  
  Skills:
  
  Demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and problem-solving in customer interactions.
• Attention to Detail:
  Ensures accurate deliveries, documentation, and order handling.
• Time Management:
  Ability to organize routes and manage schedules effectively.
• Physical Capability:
  Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and Integrity:
  Dependable, punctual, and accountable in handling company assets and customer goods.
