Description- Oversee the department’s daily operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of inbound and outbound vehicles between port, storage facilities, and dealerships.
- Work with dealerships to establish delivery schedules and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide support for operating car carrier operations if a CDL license is current.
- Support operational needs by working Saturdays and after hours if needed.
- Assist with preparing the department’s long‑ and short‑range goals.
- Assist with forecasting long‑range improvements for Carrier Services operations, including equipment, labor, and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and updated records related to Safety, Hazmat, Environmental, and DOT CDL requirements.
- Maintain carriers to ensure they are in safe operational condition and work with vendors to ensure safety of equipment.
- Maintain truck and trailer registrations and safety checks.
- Ensure delivery routes are clear, with no obstacles of low‑hanging trees, and report trees requiring maintenance to proper authorities.
- Conduct daily and safety operational meetings.
- Establish productivity standards and performance goals for employees.
- Communicate Servco policies and government regulations to staff and ensure understanding and compliance.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of experience in carrier services, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related fields.
- Supervisory experience overseeing CDL drivers and/or preparing business plans, budgets, and developing policies and procedures preferred.
- Trucking industry knowledge.
- Basic automotive knowledge.
- Knowledgeable of Department of Transportation laws and policies as they relate to CDL A drivers and vehicles.
- Knowledgeable of Hazmat laws.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work Saturdays and after hours if needed.

- Valid Type 3 Hawaii Driver’s License.
- Valid CDL A License preferred.
- Hazmat Certification preferred.

Pay Range: $70,800.00 - $ per year
