We’re partnering with a leading equipment services company that provides reliable solutions to construction and industrial customers. They are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join their service team and play a key role in keeping equipment running smoothly. This is an independent, field-based role where you’ll handle complex diagnostics and repairs while delivering top-notch service directly at customer job sites.

What

You’ll Do

This is a hands-on service position focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered and hydraulic equipment. You’ll be the go-to expert in the field, working with minimal supervision while representing the company in a professional manner. For mechanics looking to grow their careers, this position also offers pathways into training and leadership roles.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer-owned equipment.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide on-the-spot service, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
  • Accurately document all work performed using electronic work orders.
  • Share your knowledge by assisting in the training of junior technicians.
  • Support equipment and parts logistics, including occasional pick-up and delivery.
  • Take on other service responsibilities that contribute to a strong customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment repair.
  • Advanced mechanical skills with the ability to interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment systems.
  • Personal set of tools suitable for professional diesel service work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly.
