With a growing need for developmental and behavioral health services in our region, we are expanding our care team to include in‑house autism diagnostic services.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with expertise in autism evaluations and diagnosis to join our pediatric team. The psychologist will provide developmental, cognitive, and behavioral assessments for children and adolescents, collaborate with pediatric providers, and support families in accessing early intervention and treatment services.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using evidence‑based tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, cognitive/developmental batteries).
- Provide differential diagnosis of related conditions (e.g., ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety).
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback sessions with families and referral providers.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, speech/occupational therapists, and ABA providers for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports in compliance with best practices and ethical standards.
- Option to provide ongoing therapy or parent training (if desired).
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
- Licensed (or license‑eligible) in Georgia.
- Specialized training and experience in autism assessment and child/adolescent populations.
- Familiarity with standardized testing instruments (ADOS-2, ADI-R, cognitive batteries).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and medical teams.
