Association Coordinator – Houston

Join Spectrum Association Management in Houston as an Association Coordinator. No prior industry experience required.

What Is an Association Coordinator?

As the face of our organization, you liaise between HOA boards, homeowners, and vendors. Own all tasks, champion customer service, manage vendor relationships, and operate your portfolio of communities.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Live our Same Day Response Policy.
  • Engage board members and homeowners.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of small associations.
  • Plan and facilitate association board meetings and annual meetings.
  • Vendor relations, including bidding and project management.
  • Consult other departments in support of your communities.
  • Risk Management, Insurance, and Litigation Support.
  • Prepare budgets and manage finances.
  • Available for occasional after‑hour emergencies.
What Skills Do I Need?
  • 6+ years of professional, administrative experience.
  • High‑level organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong customer‑friendly communication skills.
  • Experience with financial statements and budgets.
  • Comfortable facilitating board meetings.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Experience gathering bids for projects and managing those projects.
Training

Qualified candidates receive a unique in‑house, web‑based academy and a mentor. The program lasts one year of training, making you an industry expert in three years.
