Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

- Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 2–3 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care
- Willingness to provide clinical care as needed by the office
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
- Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement, not applicable in FL & TN)
