Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Houston Methodist West Hospital, Katy TX

Houston Methodist West Hospital Department of Cardiovascular Surgery Associates, Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group located on the Westside of Houston is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible cardiothoracic surgeon with strong interest and expertise in thoracic surgery. The position focuses primarily on thoracic (non‑cardiac) procedures including lung resections for benign and malignant disease, mediastinal and pleural surgery, and chest wall reconstruction, with opportunities for minimally invasive and robotic approaches.

• Perform thoracic (non‑cardiac) procedures, including lung resections for benign and malignant disease.
• Mediastinal and pleural surgery, and chest wall reconstruction.
• Utilize minimally invasive and robotic approaches when appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in academic activities, research, and teaching of trainees.

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Strong interest and expertise in thoracic surgery.
• Experience with minimally invasive and robotic approaches preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to academic and research activities within a teaching hospital.
