Position: Packaging Lead - No Label Brewing Co.

Packaging Lead

No Label Brewing Co., located in Katy, Texas, is hiring a full-time Packaging Lead. The position reports to the Head Brewer and is part of the Operations Team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and run the Twin Monkeys San Juan Automated canning line.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of canning line, keg washer, depalletizer, and other packaging equipment.
  • Develop, maintain, and follow packaging processes and procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Lead a team in producing high volumes of packaged/filled beer, following schedules and required volumes.
  • Keep packaging areas clean and organized, including brite tanks, cellar, and storage areas.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure product conformity, communicating issues to the Head Brewer.
  • Work in tandem with Brewing Team, Head Brewer, and QA/QC.
  • Operate kegging processes, including 2‑head keg washer, exterior cleaning, filling, and sanitizing.
  • Oversee inventory of packaged/kegged products and materials, ensuring proper storage.
  • Assist with loading/unloading weekly distributor pickup/drop‑off of finished product.
  • General brewhouse/cellar area cleaning and SOP compliance.
  • Record production and batch/lot data using log sheets.
  • Assist staff with maintenance tasks and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience at a packaging brewery.
  • Formal brewing/packaging line education, training, certifications, or accreditation are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of packaging/brewing/process equipment, including canning line, depalletizer, keg washer, and cellar equipment.
  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and packaging line/brite tank maintenance skills are a plus.
  • Forklift and scissor lift operation with current training certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Basic laboratory technique knowledge for simple lab tests.
  • Flexible work hours, including occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Packaging Lead performs physically demanding tasks: lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, twisting, reaching, working in standing, kneeling, and crouching positions, navigating tight spaces, and operating at heights of 10+ feet. Work may be indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures and weather. Employees use PPE due to noise and other hazards. Adherence to company policies is required.

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience and education; health insurance and paid vacation are offered.
