Mission

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

· Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.

· Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.

· Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.

· Create labor records for all transactions.

· Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Exposures:

· Technology or Manufacturing Center

· Production Workflow

· Production Assembly

+ 2 Years Electro-mechanical assembler experience

+ Minimum High School degree, Higher technical education preferred

+ IPC 610 or IPC 620 is a plus but not required

Key Skills/Abilities

+ Mechanically inclined individual

+ Able to use mechanical and electric test equipment such as meters, microscope, torque wrenches, filler gages, etc.

+ Soldering capabilities on cabling, thru hole and surface mount technologies.

+ Able to work with high precision small parts

+ Able to follow procedures and processes is a must

+ Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

+ Good communication skills is a must

+ Must possess the ability to multi-task
