We are searching for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) TCP Cinco Ranch-- someone to gather information, assess and provide direct care to patients. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to render age-appropriate care.

Qualifications:- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent
- Diploma or Certificate from a school of vocational nursing OR Documentation from the Texas Board of Nursing verifying an exception to the requirement for a diploma from a school of vocational nursing
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) by the State of Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment
- Knowledge of related OSHA and CLIA/COLA guidelines and requirements, general office tasks, confidentiality and filing system
- Proficiency with treatments such as nebulizer, ear irrigation and dressing changes
- Assists with the collection of patient/family data
- Administers medication and immunizations
- Supports patient/families in self-management of their health through assisting with education
- Coordinates referrals
- Collects specimens and performs laboratory test
- Demonstrates Creating SMILES and AIDET philosophies to patients, families, and co-workers
- Acknowledges the customer
- Identifies self
- Keeps customers informed by explaining all tasks, processes and procedures
- Thank the customer
- Adheres to Standards of Behavior
- Tasks are measured by observation of evaluator
