KeyRequirements
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends.
- Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
- Must be able to work on a computer system.
- Must be able to handle cats, dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
- Ability to think clearly and quickly to resolve problems.
- Must possess a love of animals. Must always display professional manners.
- Sanitizes/disinfects pet guest suite, condo, and general boarding areas.
- Provides clean bedding and fresh water to each new pet guest.
- Feeds pet guests the correct type and quantity of food for each meal.
- Ensures every pet guest always has clean water.
- Monitors and accurately charts consumption and elimination of every pet guest; reports any concern to manager.
- Periodically throughout the day performs a visual check on each boarding guest for well‑being and safety.
- Cleans up pet excrement, as needed. Checks and cleans feces from suites as needed during the day.
- Monitors guest's belongings; cleans them as needed; assures the return of the belongings to the owner.
- Launders pet bedding, toys, cleaning towels as needed.
- Communicates with lead when supplies are running low.
- Follows all safe handling procedures.
- Treats clients, guests, and co‑workers in a professional, courteous manner; greets all clients encountered while performing work duties.
- Assists other Team Members as needed.
- Follows all Policies and Procedures, following the Core Values established by the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
