Quality Control Inspector

Shift: Days and Nights available
Pay: $22/hr

About the Role
Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a Power Electronics Systems production team in Katy, TX. You will inspect parts, components, and finished products to make sure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products for conformance to specifications
• Identify, document, and report workmanship defects and non-conformances
• Read and interpret mechanical and wiring drawings
• Use hand tools and measurement devices to verify dimensions and quality
• Maintain accurate inspection records in line with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Work with production, suppliers, and other contacts to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with hand tools and measurement devices
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and wiring drawings and identify workmanship defects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or a similar quality management system
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a record of positive working relationships
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 5%, sometimes on short notice
• English proficiency, oral and written

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of quality control experience in manufacturing
• Familiarity with power electronics, motor drives, or control systems
