Responsibilities
- Maintain and enrich product data to ensure accurate and appealing online presentations, including taxonomy, imagery, videos, descriptions, and specifications.
- Standardize product attributes across categories through competitive research and analysis.
- Conduct regular audits of product content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Partner with vendors to acquire and manage high-quality product content and assets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop cross‑channel merchandising strategies and align website product presentation with mobile apps, email marketing, and social media.
- Manage and optimize product placement and categorization on the website and other digital channels to enhance discoverability and conversion.
- Use analytics tools to measure product performance, identify trends, and make data‑driven merchandising recommendations.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Inventory teams to ensure promotional readiness and product availability.
- Continuously improve product presentation by testing and implementing enhancements to descriptions, imagery, and user experience.
- Track and report product updates, promotions, and performance metrics.
- Create merchandise category hierarchies and assign or reassign articles within those hierarchies.
- Manage ERP product data, including logistics, sellable unit configuration, POS data, and product expiry.
- Handle supplier changes and ensure product records are updated accordingly.
- Manage digital enrichment data, initiate supplier enrichment, oversee internal enrichment activities, and acquire product‑line information for data syndication opportunities.
- Show strong understanding of merchandising, product management, and upstream/downstream processes.
- Provide support for new product launches as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including buyers.
- Maintain SLA and KPI standards across processes.
- Lead team management, training, and motivation efforts.
- Handle escalation and resolution processes.
- Monitor delivery, quality, and exception handling.
- Identify and manage potential risks.
- Review and monitor all market research activities.
- Graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandizing, or a related field.
- Experience in Category Management and Site Merchandising, including product attribute standardization, quality checks, and managing product attributes.
- Proficiency in cross‑functional stakeholder management and project delivery as an individual contributor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with varied stakeholders.
