Job OverviewThe Consumer Experience Inside Sales Representative is a highly motivated and results‑driven individual responsible for handling inbound and outbound consumer calls, emails, texts and chats with a strong focus on selling, upselling and cross‑selling our products. This role will work with potential and returning customers on product recommendations to process orders driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with inbound and outbound consumer inquiries to drive sales
- Develop new sales opportunities with warm lead opportunities via outbound emails, calls and website traffic follow‑ups
- Follow up on web orders, abandoned carts and warm sales leads to close sales opportunities
- Communicate with consumers to understand their needs and requirements to identify sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and productivity budgets
- Accurately log consumer interactions and opportunities in CRM (e.g., Hub Spot and Net Suite)
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, current marketing promotions, and internal processes and policies
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Consumer Experience Support, Operations, Pool, B2B sales and Marketing teams
- Strong sales business acumen and deep understanding of consumer behavior to close sales opportunities
- 3+ years of inside sales experience in a contact center environment with a proven track record of meeting revenue goals
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consumer‑first attitude
- Experience in working with contact center phone systems, CRM and/or ERP systems (e.g., Hub Spot preferred or Salesforce and Net Suite preferred)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced inside sales contact center environment
- Background in furniture/home décor sales for eCommerce business or retail is a plus
- Experience with using CRM and ERP systems (Net Suite, Hub Spot) and contact center phone systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace applications, including Google Sheets and Docs
