Our client is an engineering-focused organization that develops and delivers solutions supporting infrastructure, operational, and business needs. The organization is seeking a hands-on technical leader to help design, build, and scale business applications across the Microsoft Power Platform while supporting consistent development standards, reusable components, and reliable deployment practices.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative technical environment where the Senior Power Platform Developer will work closely with business users and a small development team to deliver practical, maintainable tools that support engineering and operational teams.

We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer who enjoys remaining hands-on while providing technical guidance to a small team. In this role, you will work directly alongside two developers to design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform.

The Senior Power Platform Developer will serve as a primary builder of Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate flows, Dataverse solutions, and related data integrations. You will translate business needs into practical technical solutions, prototype applications, establish reusable components and templates, and help ensure the team follows sound development, governance, and application lifecycle management practices.

The ideal candidate has strong builder-level expertise across the Power Platform, a solid understanding of relational data design, and practical experience with deployment pipelines, governance, and data automation. This individual should be comfortable troubleshooting in code, collaborating with business stakeholders, and helping other developers overcome technical challenges while managing their own development deliverables.

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions.
• Work directly with two developers to provide hands-on technical mentorship, troubleshooting support, and collaborative solution design.
• Lead the design of scalable, practical, and maintainable application structures and relational data models.
• Translate functional business requirements into technical designs, prototypes, applications, automations, and data solutions.
• Partner with business users to clarify needs, validate solution approaches, and support application adoption.
• Build and maintain Power Query Dataflows to support data preparation, transformation, and movement.
• Develop and maintain Power Automate integrations that streamline workflows and business processes.
• Create and maintain reusable Power Platform components, templates, and shared development assets.
• Establish and reinforce development standards that improve consistency, maintainability, and development speed.
• Support application release and deployment processes through Power Platform Pipelines and version-control practices.
• Help manage governance practices, including DLP policies and connector governance.
• Troubleshoot application, automation, data, integration, and deployment issues across Power Platform solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for application structures, data models, components, deployment processes, and standards.
• Support a company-wide safety culture by following established safety standards, policies, and best practices.

• At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to remain hands-on while leading, mentoring, and supporting other developers.
• Deep development experience with Canvas Apps.
• Deep development experience with Model-driven Apps.
• Deep development experience with Power Pages.
• Deep development experience with Power Automate.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Dataverse solutions.
• Strong experience with SharePoint integration and development within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of entity relationship diagrams and relational data modeling.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable application data models and structures.
• Experience creating and maintaining Power Query Dataflows.
