Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse in Katy, TX.

Average annual salary $75,000-$85,000 per year which includes:

• Hourly wage of $28.00 per hour.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
• Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week.
• Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year.

• Work 4 days per week, Sunday-Friday.
• Work Sunday, off Saturday and two other days per week (not guaranteed consecutive).
• Start time varies between 7:00pm-2:00am; work until work is completed, usually 8-12 hours per day.
• No layovers, home every day.
• Make 5-15 stops per day; 200 mile radius of Katy, TX.
• Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs.

• Fingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight.
• Some deliveries require going up and down stairs.
• Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round.
• Secure loads using load straps before and after every stop.
• Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart.
• Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to Chipotle restaurants.
• Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'-42' pup trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
• Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
• Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance.
• Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License from state of Texas.
• Minimum of 6-months local, multiple-stop, touch freight delivery experience highly preferred.
• New CDL Graduates encouraged to apply; some food service case delivery and/or handling experience is highly preferred.
• Local, multiple-stop deliveries using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
• Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
