If so, we are looking for driven, goal-oriented people like you to join our team as an Instrumentation and Process Control Designer. Here’s what you will need to do:
- Prepare construction documents such as loop drawings, location drawings, cable reports, and I/O lists under the guidance of senior staff, using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite to produce accurate and consistent deliverables.
- Learn and apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) protocols to stay aligned with evolving technology and industry best practices.
- Contribute to control network design documentation, including functional descriptions and specifications for Quality Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Distributed Control Systems.
- Support the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams and instrumentation/control valve specifications while strengthening design skills.
- Travel to client sites to collect field data, document existing conditions, and support new equipment start-up, building practical field experience.
- Assist in preparing project proposals and estimates, gaining insight into project planning and budgeting.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate project details and develop strong collaboration skills that lead to successful client outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers and drafters to contribute to a wide range of industrial projects, from new facilities to small upgrades, while expanding technical knowledge.
