Kaukauna Caregiver

Overview

Agape of Appleton, a nonprofit human services agency, is hiring Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) for an 8‑bed coed residential home in Kaukauna. Starting wage is $16–$17 per hour and the role offers an opportunity to build meaningful, lasting connections while supporting adults with differing abilities.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, bathing, toileting, and transportation.
• Support residents in expressing preferences and needs, honoring choices and promoting self‑determination.
• Create a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for everyone.
• Take residents on daily outings and help them engage with their community.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license for resident transportation.
• Physical and mental capability to assist residents based on specific needs.
• A strong passion for helping others.
• Previous experience is great, but a kind heart and willingness to learn matter most; paid training is provided.
