St. Ignatius Catholic School strives to employ an individual whose response to God’s invitation is to work in a Catholic educational setting. The Director of Business Services oversees the Business Services Office of St. Ignatius Catholic School. This position will report regularly to the Headmaster/Head of Lower School.

- Follow the guidelines of the St. Ignatius Catholic School Fiscal and Internal Controls Procedures.
- Serve as a member of the school leadership team.
- Work cooperatively with the St. Ignatius Catholic School Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, and Heads of School in the budget process.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and monitor the annual budget.
- Communicate and interact with all St. Ignatius Catholic School affiliated committees/organizations in their financial transactions.
- Prepare parish support invoices monthly.
- Assist with the responsibilities for proper recording of all accounting and payroll transactions.
- Represent the St. Ignatius Catholic School Board of Trustees in all financial transactions as required by the Diocese of Green Bay, government units, and lending institutions.
- Submit all financial reports and records required by the Diocese of Green Bay, government units, and lending institutions.
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
- Oversee insurance (i.e., workmen’s comp., health, long‑term disability, etc.).
- Complete required documentation (reports, audits, applications, etc.) for the WPCP and SNSP Programs.
- Supervise tuition payment plans along with Before & After Care payments.
- Cooperate and work with the Finance Committee, Board of Trustees, and Heads of School to develop and implement just and equitable salary schedules and benefit plans for all employees.
- Assist the Advancement Director with information/projects as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews of direct reports to enable growth in dignity, self‑worth, and job proficiency.
- Serve in a research and planning capacity to evaluate and understand the financial impact of new programs and report progress to the Board of Trustees.
- Assist in short‑ and long‑range planning as initiated by the Finance Committee, Board of Trustees, and St. Ignatius Catholic School Heads of School.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
- Effective communication skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelors or Associates in a Finance‑related field.
- Experience in business management.
- Background in a Catholic school environment.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
- Compliance with the Diocese of Green Bay Office of Safe Environment requirements, including VIRTUS training and background check.
- Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature‑controlled environment.
- Frequently requires fine dexterity, periods of sitting, and working at a computer.
- Occasionally requires standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and the like.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed.
