Position Title: Foot and Nail Care Specialist RN

Hours:approximately 32 hours biweekly, 8am-4:30pm, flexible days of the week

What will you get to do as a Foot and Nail Care Specialist – RN l Elder Services?

• Provide high-quality foot and nail care to residents, tenants, community clients, and participants across our continuum of care.
• Perform professional services including nail trimming, filing, callus reduction, and foot health assessments.
• Identify and document common foot concerns such as fungal conditions, circulation issues, ingrown nails, or diabetic foot risks.
• Develop individualized care plans and offer education on foot hygiene, preventive care, and safe footwear.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support client safety, comfort, and mobility.
• Maintain clean, organized clinic spaces and ensure instruments and supplies follow infection control standards.
• Support workflow by maintaining accurate documentation according to SPES policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Refer clients to podiatrists or other specialists when needed. Build warm, respectful relationships with those we serve, reflecting our Franciscan values in every interaction.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain required foot and nail care certifications.
• Complete external certification training—funded by St. Paul Elder Services—upon hire if not already certified.
