Description
Purpose: Represent the company in a courteous and cordial manner and ensure customer satisfaction and maximum efficiency for the business. Effectively diagnose, service and repair customer and company equipment.
Essential FunctionsStrong Diagnostic Ability
- Proficient in diagnostic skills to accurately identify and address issues.
- Must be adept at using advanced diagnostic tools to interpret error codes and determine the root causes of malfunctions.
- Understand a full range of techniques and procedures used in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and servicing construction equipment.
Dependability
- Punctual and consistent attendance.
- Ability to consistently perform duties and meet expectations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines and exceed customer’s expectations.
- Maintain a professional appearance, ensuring their service vehicles are organized, and delivering high-quality work consistently.
- Desire to work on equipment inside or outside in all weather and settings.
- The desire and willingness to continue to better themselves as a technician and an employee.

- Exceptional customer service through clear and patient communication, educating customers about the services performed, and demonstrating empathy towards their concerns.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Technical or associate degree preferred; 5 to 7 years of industry experience for experienced applicants; technical degree for entry-level applicants.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with software programs.
- Understand the utilization of parts look up programs, equipment manuals and service/repair manuals.
- Ability to read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of mechanical practices and principles.
- Ability to inspect and set-up new equipment for compliance with contract specifications.
- Experience with welding and fabrication tools.
- Possession of personal hand and air tools in both metric and standard sizes.
- Ability to obtain a CDL is required (class A, airbrakes, combination, and tanker endorsements) with a 3-month grace period for entry-level technicians.
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., crouch, stoop, climb heights of 5 feet, and stand for long periods.
