Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and trustworthy Assistant Kids Club Manager to join our dedicated child‑care team. The ideal candidate has meticulous attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities, and has experience in a Kids Club or similar setting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Kids Club facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment for children ages two months to twelve years.
  • Supervise children’s activities and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist with training of the Kids Club Associate team.
  • Schedule staff shifts and maintain adequate coverage, monitoring child‑to‑staff ratios.
  • Manage reservations and child agreements, ensuring efficient communication with parents and tracking of bookings.
  • Collaborate with the Kids Club Manager to align team goals and coordinate daily and weekly tasks.
  • Implement emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first‑aid protocols.
  • Develop age‑appropriate activities, games, and crafts for children.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the Kids Club facility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and gym management regarding Kids Club policies, procedures, and updates.
  • Foster positive relationships with members and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the Kids Club.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role and prior experience in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming.
  • Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and childcare regulatory requirements.
  • Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing, enriching environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Detail oriented with systematic, thorough problem‑solving and strong time‑management, organization, and record‑keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Alignment with our core values.
Requirements
  • Must pass a background check.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in a gym setting, move around club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public.
  • Ability to access and operate company computer systems, prepare documents, enter data, and review reports.
  • Physical capability to bend and lift more than 40 lbs. routinely.

Tenure Pay

Hourly Pay Range

$14 – $14 USD
