Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires proficiency in circulating duties and the ability to support various surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high clinical standards. The schedule consists of 4×10-hour day/evening shifts with on-call responsibilities, requiring strong flexibility and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating support during surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques, infection control protocols, and perioperative standards.

• Prepare OR suites, surgical instruments, and supplies as required for scheduled procedures.

• Support patient positioning, equipment setup, and intraoperative needs.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and assist with emergency interventions.
Requirements

• Active state RN license (must be obtained upon acceptance if not already held).

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.

• Experience circulating in various surgical specialties preferred.

Certifications:

BLS/BCLS and ACLS required.

• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.

• Ability to work day/evening shifts with on-call rotation.

• Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to function effectively in a high-demand surgical environment.

• 13-week contract assignment.

• No holiday coverage required.
