Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing care to patients in acute care and telemetry monitored floors. This position involves a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain patient hygiene and comfort within the acute care environment.
- May work as a sitter to provide additional support and supervision for patients as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care for patients.
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred in an acute care setting.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
