Labor & Delivery / Nursery Registered Nurse

Kealakekua, HI | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | Expected 72–80 hours every two weeks

• Provide Labor & Delivery and Nursery nursing care, including couplet care, in a rural community hospital setting
• Support a unit averaging 45–50 deliveries per month
• Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
• May be assigned charge nurse duties on an as-needed basis
• Float to assist other departments as needed, though not as a primary nurse in those areas

• Current, active Hawaii RN license required prior to start
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Couplet care experience required
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring competency required

• Experience in a rural or community hospital setting
• Charge nurse experience
• Ability to flex across multiple maternal/newborn care areas

• Opportunity to practice in a unique rural Hawaii setting serving a close-knit community
• Varied clinical experience spanning Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and couplet care within one role
