Superintendent of Schools - Pawnee Public Schools

Pawnee City Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The District is located in Pawnee City in Southeast Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 264 students. The District has an excellent staff who work hard and care about the students; strong community support; a recently adopted strategic plan; and established systems, policies, and practices.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.

An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
