Special Education Director

Minden Public Schools is accepting applications for qualified K-12 Special Education Director for the  school year.

Minden Public Schools is a progressive C1 school located 20 minutes south of Kearney, NE. Qualified candidates need to be comfortable making data-driven decisions, able to build relationships with students and parents, and able to collaborate with peers.

The successful candidate will be capable of creating a shared vision for student success across the entire district and community. We are seeking skills to foster a school climate that promotes intentional thinking and conversation, allowing for new and expanded opportunities for our students.

This position will involve working with staff, students, community stakeholders, and parents. The successful candidate will possess technology skills, the ability to collaborate as part of a team, and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Department of Education Administrative Certificate with a K-12 or PK-8 Principal endorsement. The Starting Date for this position is July 28th, 2025.
