Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams. High quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures. Maintains accurate documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training.

• Minimum of one registry in either:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS):
    Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS‑AE) / Vascular Technology (RVT)
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI):
    Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) / Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Graduates of an accredited sonography program who meet criteria for the registry exam are eligible for hire. An RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS credential must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
