SummaryThe Hardware Technician is responsible for the shipping/receiving of equipment to/from stores, repairing broken hardware, and coordinating with outsourced repair vendors. Requires knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices and tools; familiarity with shipping methods and in‑depth knowledge of Buckle Store Systems hardware. The role includes researching, testing, evaluating and recommending new and replacement hardware and may work with both technical and non‑technical personnel within and outside the company.
The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends based on store and business needs.

Hardware Maintenance/Repair- Repair hardware.
- Document repairs in ticket system.
- Update asset database information and store equipment inventory lists.
- Prepare equipment for electronic recycle/disposal.
- Prepare, configure, package and ship equipment to stores and vendors.
- Receive equipment from stores and vendors.
- Document shipping and receiving into ticket system.
- Fulfill the mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education And/Or ExperienceAssociate’s degree from a two‑year college or university; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry certifications such as A+ or Apple are desired.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The role requires standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
The job also requires good vision and the ability to travel by flight or motor vehicle, including overnight stays, and operating a motor vehicle for up to 6 hours.
The job is regularly performed in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
