Make a difference in your community and help support farmers, ranchers, and producers as a County Executive Director with USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA)!
This position is located in Kearney, NE as part of the Nebraska State FSA Office in Buffalo County. As a County Executive Director, you will be responsible for directing and managing FSA programs and administrative operations for your assigned geographical area, as well as other duties including:
- Carrying out permanent and ad hoc farm bill programs and policies as established by USDA and Congress.
- Providing basic FSA farm loan program services to local farmers, ranchers, and producers.
- Supporting crop insurance operations under policies established by the Risk Management Agency (RMA).
- Performing additional farm loan program assignments based on authorities delegated.
- Performing administrative and field activities as needed to accomplish program objectives.
- Managing resources and directing activities of subordinate staff.
