Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >55 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details

Ratios: couplet 1/3, Laboring1/1

Weekend Requirement Every 3rd weekend (could potentially be every other depending on need)

Holidays One major and one minor

C-section Experience Required Yes (circulate Required)

Floating: NICU (for feeders and growers only)

Floor specific orientation: 1-2 days

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 32 weeks - otherwise with transfer out, no VBAC, mag sulfate, insulin

Mothers labor & deliver in one bed. There is no nursery; newborns stay in bassinets in their mothers’ rooms. Babies never leave their mothers’ sides. They believe in skin-to-skin care.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
