Responsibilities
Oversee, direct, and participate in restorative programs for individual patients.Provide safe restorative care.Communicate with Nursing and Rehabilitation departments about goal setting and individualized care approaches.Attend care‑plan conferences and input into individualized Restorative plan development.Attend and contribute to in‑services and staff meetings as requested.Maintain accurate restorative nursing progress and documentation records for all patients in restorative programs.Assist with new staff orientation and ongoing education on restorative nursing principles.Instruct and assist direct care staff with application of splints, braces, prosthetic appliances, and self‑help devices.Notify Nursing and/or Rehab of patients experiencing functional changes.Communicate suggestions to Rehab Therapist and Restorative Nurse Manager to help residents reach maximum functioning.Maintain proficiency in using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, lifts, scales, and other restorative equipment, and instruct others in use.Promote a culture of safety for a healthy practice and living environment.Put Patient Service first:
Ensure patients and families receive high‑quality, compassionate service that respects individual needs and rights.Participate in quality improvement activities as requested.Other responsibilities as assigned supporting clinical and operations sides of the Rehabilitation Department.Uphold the GRS Promises:- Be ethical, act with integrity and honesty.

Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications
Successful completion of a state‑approved certified nursing assistant program.Two years’ experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant with knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy and procedures.A minimum of high school education or equivalency diploma (preferred).Attendance of at least 12 hours of continuing education programs to maintain certification.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure patient safety and effective communication.Posted Salary Range
USD $17.00 – $20.00 /hr.
