• Greet and assist customers promptly, acknowledging them immediately and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Use product knowledge to assess and meet customer needs, answer questions, direct them to merchandise, and recommend products.
• Promote store events and promotional activity to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Address customer concerns, using product knowledge to offer alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Report to management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld, mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage customers.
• Can handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Uses basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise up to 25 lb and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5–10 ft.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently assume positions that require kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face, and with managers and coworkers.
• Frequently move across the sales floor to assist customers and to and from the stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts and travel.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position 80 % of the time.
