Security Officers are the front line of safety
. You help protect people, property, and peace of mind across environments like offices, hospitals, schools, and government sites. Think of it like being the calm, steady presence that keeps everything running smoothly—even when things don’t go as planned.

• Provide visible security and customer service at the site

• Follow site-specific safety and security procedures

• Respond to incidents calmly and make smart decisions under pressure

• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings and surrounding areas

• Support emergency response activities when needed

• Age Requirement

  • 18+ for unarmed roles

  • 21+ for armed roles

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
  OR 5 years of verifiable experience

• 1+ year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience

• Ability to pass:

  • Background investigation (per federal, state, and local law)

  • Drug screening (where permitted by law)

• Licensing as required by state or local regulations

• Valid driver’s license only if the position requires driving

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
