Construction Laborer

Right fiber (formerly Great Plains Communications) Underground Construction is hiring a Seasonal Construction Laborer for our project working thru November 2026 season. Based in Kearney, NE, you will travel weekly with our crew to build out critical fiber and utility infrastructure.

• Pay:
  Up to $22.00 / hour (Based on experience)
• Overtime:
  Plentiful weekly OT hours available
• Travel 100% Covered:
  We pay for all overnight lodging
• Daily Food Allowance:
  Per diem/meals are fully paid
• Weekly Home Time:
  Travel is Monday through Friday; home on weekends

• Operate trenchers, backhoes, bulldozers, and skid loaders
• Drive company construction tractors and trucks
• Perform physical ground labor including digging and trenching
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 130 lbs
• Work outdoors in diverse Midwest weather conditions

• Valid Driver’s License (Clean driving record required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background screen
• Ability to travel overnight Monday – Friday
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
