Position: Recreation Aide
Location: Kearny, NJ
Shift: PRN | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Weekends
Salary: $15.49 per hour

Artis Care Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and energetic Recreation Aide to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

• Support the planning and delivery of recreational programs and activities.
• Assist residents in engaging with social, creative, and physical activities.
• Help organize events designed to promote wellbeing and social interaction.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong team player with the ability to work well with others.
• Empathetic and supportive of residents and their families.
• Nursing home experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC (Point Click Care ) is a plus.
