Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support operations across multiple sites in Hudson County, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a bilingual HR leader who can guide leaders, strengthen employee engagement, and help build effective people practices in a fast-moving food distribution and manufacturing environment. The position will play a key role in talent strategy, workplace culture, compliance, and leadership support while contributing to continued business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR partner for managers and employees across several operating locations, providing day-to-day guidance on people matters.

• Advise leadership on performance issues, staffing needs, team development, and practical solutions that support business objectives.

• Conduct workplace investigations, address employee concerns, and promote fair, consistent resolution in line with company standards.

• Oversee hiring and onboarding efforts while helping develop retention strategies that improve the employee experience.

• Monitor adherence to employment regulations at the federal, state, and local levels and recommend actions to reduce risk.

• Coordinate HR programs such as leave administration, benefits support, training activities, and employee development initiatives.

• Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and reporting while supporting the effective use of HR systems and payroll-related processes.

• Champion initiatives that strengthen engagement, reinforce a positive culture, and support organizational effectiveness.

• Contribute to business expansion and organizational change efforts by partnering with leaders on workforce readiness and communication plans.

• Support talent planning by working with leadership on succession strategies and the development of high-potential employees.
