Position: RN Unit Manager – Sub-Acute Floor

Location: Kearny, New Jersey

Shift: Full Time, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Salary: $110,000 per year – Sign-On Bonus

Belgrove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled and motivated RN Unit Manager to oversee our Sub‑Acute Floor during the day shift. This leadership position plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with all nursing standards.

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the Sub‑Acute Floor, ensuring high‑quality resident care.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and leadership.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement care plans and clinical procedures.
• Monitor and maintain proper staffing levels to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular rounds to observe resident care and staff performance, addressing any concerns.
• Oversee medication administration and treatments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with physician orders.
• Participate in resident admissions, assessments, and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies and regulations.
• Support ongoing education and professional development for nursing staff.

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in sub‑acute, long‑term care, or geriatric nursing.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
