USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Kearny, NJ.

Job Type: Full-time

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and driver logs being completed.
• Comply with all DOT regulations. Complete all required company and DOT paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out-of-state mileage logs.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service.
