Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory and quality standards
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology is preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in cardiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
- Commitment to patient care and advocacy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7a-4p or 5p
Call: 1:3-4 weeknight rotation and 1 weekend per month
Setting:
Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: 14-16 patients
Will read echocardiograms & ECGs
Ability to perform TEEs and cardioversions is required
Support Staff: APPs & RNs
EMR:
Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
